SNEAK ATTACK!

1. Have you had someone hurt you?...who disgusts you?...who disappointed you?
2. We hate the idea of loving enemies!
3. It is not an option to love our enemies.

FORGIVE AND COMFORT
II CORINTHIANS 2:4-11

1. How often we have wished that the "bad people" would just go away.
2. They come to us for our benefit,
3. Mercy is something that the world does not normally experience.
4. When we are wronged, we should comfort.
5. If you are spiritually healthy and self-sufficient, Jesus did not come for you. Matthew 9:12-13
6. The relentless law of nature.

VICTORY FOR MERCIFUL
JAMES 2:12-13

1. We gain victory by showing merciful.
2. Mercy is greater than judgment,
3. One of the differences between the world and Christ is that he loves the unlovable. Matthew 5:39-48
4. He showed mercy to his enemy. Luke10:37
5. He prayed for those who murdered him. Acts 7:59
6. It is our cross. Matthew 6:9-13, 14-15
7. Taking out planks, Matthew 7:1-5
8. He died for us when we were still in sin. Romans 5:6

Along with our commitment to learn to love one another, mercy will need to
become a major part in healing any wound you may have with someone in
you family in Christ,
