THE VICTORY IS OURS!
“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven
say: ‘Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our
God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.’”
Rev. 12:10-11
This is our present reality. Satan has
been defeated by the power of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Satan
can no longer accuse and attack us with impunity. Jesus has made
us acceptable to the Father. We don’t have to worry daily about whether
or not we’re good enough. The gospel makes it clear that, of our
own power, we cannot be good enough. But, God has made us good through
the death, burial, and resurrection of his holy Son, Jesus. We have
won. The enemy has been defeated. Our salvation is secure in
God’s hands. So let us move on with gratitude into the days God has
set before us. Remember, the victorious life is the only life we
Christians know about. Grace and peace,
Ethan
